ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Born in the snowy northern mountain town of Taos New Mexico, Madison started her artistic career as a painter, then pivoted into becoming a local documentary filmmaker, pursuing a semi-professional career in cosplay, and eventually becoming the seamstress and fashion designer that she is today.
Madison studied costume design for performance and new media at The University of New Mexico as well as the film technician program at Central New Mexico Community College.
After she earned her BA in design, she worked freelance in the New Mexico Film Industry where she worked on some feature films and indie productions.
Currently, she lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a freelance fashion designer, tailor, digital marketer, and dog mom. Her work encapsulates the ethereal whimsical nature of "The Land of Enchantment" and brings elements of childhood playful nostalgia. A core moral belief in her art is being eco-friendly, and sustainable and not adding additional waste to an ever-expanding unethical fashion industry.
