Oil Slick is Madvans’ runway collection confronting the aftermath of human excess, where beauty collides with environmental damage. Inspired by plastic pollution choking the oceans, the afterlife of textile waste, and the iridescent scars left by oil spills, the collection transforms devastation into a stark visual language. Glossed surfaces, fluid silhouettes, and distorted textures echo oil floating on water, while layered fabrics and repurposed materials reflect the weight of what we discard.
